Wetterau Inc. formed as a family grocery business.

1970

Ted Wetterau writes the business Creed that is still used today.

1991

Wetterau Grocers sold to Super Value Chain.

1992

Wetterau Assoc LLC formed and brothers Mark and Conrad Wetterau and Mike Waltakuitus purchasing Sav-A-Lot stores.

1994

Wetterau Assoc LLC founders purchase Quality Beverage in Taunton, MA, all 3 founders moving to MA. Worked directly with August Busch III for the purchase.

1998

Wetterau Assoc buys Golden State Foods (GSF), Conrad Wetterau stays in MA to run Quality Beverage

2001

Quality Beverage in Taunton acquires the first Non-Anheuser Busch brands, Corona, doing business with it’s U.S. Importer Gambrinus.

2006

Quality Beverage enters into the Craft Beer business with 2 large brands, Magic Hat and Sierra Nevada.

2022

Quality Beverage acquires the rights to distribute Cutwater Spirits - the industry’s #1 Canned Cocktail

2022

Quality Beverage creates a Non Alcoholic Sales & Service Team

2013

Quality Beverage fully purchases Consolidated Beverages in Auburn, MA after a period of investing into the business.

2019

Quality Beverage purchases Williams Distributing to become the largest beer wholesaler in New England.
